ok im still kinda new to this so i might have a really stupid questiong, but i am trying to set this program up to where you got to enter in a password that is atuomatically set up so it will start to type something for you, but no matter what i set the pass at, you can type in anything and it will just go to the screen. how do i fix it.. please help a noob out.

I'm guessing that you are thinking that pass$ holds the password you need to guess - it doesn't, it holds the user's input. You need to compare it to a stored password.

ok i set it up the way you got it, although i did forget to say i was using DB Classic, but now im getting a syntax error at the end of it.

He forgot to put then. For this it doesn't matter which version of DB you are using.
