I'd like a method of changing the mouse pointer during a darkbasic pro program without a major slow down. I've tried:
sprite 4,mousex(),mousey(),4
planning then to hide the original mouse. The problem is that the mouse sprite hopelessly can't keep up with the original mouse pointer.
Any ideas?

If your going to do that, you should use "Hide Mouse" first.

Or you could just use "CHANGE MOUSE Cursor Number" in DBPro. It's in the help files.
