Oh me gawd! Because of his polygons, does he lag up the game badly? And is he animated?

Give a man some bullets, and he'll want a gun. Give a man a gun and he'll be giving away the bullets!!

Cool, I got the "fat zombie" from Doom 3 into FPSC a while ago, as well as the berserker from Quake 4. A good normal map can do wonders.

My original zombie biped is getting played out. I think I'll make a new one for the next model pack.

yeh, its what we're lacking, people complain about FPSC and they dont use the shaders to their extent

have you seen the HellKnight without the normalmap? truly horrible, just goes to show

i could never comletely get the fat zombie in, i couldnt find his normal map?? the ambience was way too high in his diffuse map...ah well

Yeah, seeing that makes me want to learn how to create a REAL normal map. One that's based off of a high-res model and not simply made from a greyscale image which has been run through NVidia's plugin...I guess I'll have to dig through my back issues of 3D World and find those Z-Brush tutorials...sometime.

yeh, thats what i wanted to do with my Knight Model, i didnt have ZMapper, so i chose to use 'XNormal' a free normal mapper, which rips the normals off a high poly version and maps them for the low poly version, though i had some problems, and to be honest, the map came out very bad, plus if you have some UV's overlayed (such as symmetry, or the opposite faces, it really screws up the map, i think every UV must be unique in its position...
