I think using the number keys 1-6 is what your looking for... then adjust the height with page up and page down...

You use the numbers 1-6 to rotate around the x,y and z axis my friend, you also press R to rotate the object on the z axis.

The "Manual" explains it in much more detail, but I especially like the friendly members on these forums.

yhea Enter to place on top of an object (gun on Tabel) R to rotate (turn it around) and 1-9 0r 1-6 (change the angel anyway)
