Hello,

I'm trying to avoid making this one of those stupid model requests that starts with "AM MKING MMORPG, NEED FULLY ANIMATED/TEXTURED CHARACTER..."

I am making a sort of fps / rgp game, and there are two classes, warriors and wizards. I'm using the darkMATTER Knight for the warrior, but I'm having trouble with the wizard. I cannot find one online, and I'm having trouble making one.

What I would like is if someone had any suggestions or IF you'd be so kind, to point me to an already made wizard model / make one yourself. I don't want it animated / textured, I can do that myself. Here's a picture of what I have so far (don't laugh at me!)

Here's a picture of what I'm going for:

This is for a club I started at my school, and our progress has sort of come to a standstill because of this. If anyone could help that would be great. Thanks

I sadly don't have a model for you, but if your project is at a standstill because you're missing a character model, you may be placing far to great an emphasis on graphics. Just use a stand-in cube for the character and work on the core functions.

Dude, I hope you don't have a co-president. He'll screw you over and try to take control of the club. Exert your authority nosnevel.

Yeah... I have a club and my co-pres tried to take it over. I met him at the flagpole after school and... 'talked it out' with him if you know what I mean

Good luck on your club

Your signature has been erased by a mod because it's larger than 600x120...

We are, of course, working around the fact that we don't have the wizard model. We're using the knight (with a different texture) but we will need the wizard at some point.

And no, there is no co-president. Just me (the founder / president) and a bunch of co-founders. Plus everyone in the club is just a bunch of my friends, so no worries.

Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated by all of us.

looks like your off to a great start there, Xela. I dont see how you cant finish your model. I dont know the location of a free one you could use . you might want to check turbosquid.com

I've checked turbosquid.

As for the modelling, the basic body structure wasn't too tough. I just can't fiugre out how to add arms + head + robe/cape.

the model is fine...what you should be more concered about is the programming. my advice is: finish the model, finish the game, in the mean time get better at modeling and if you still feel that the models aren't good enough go back and redo them when you or someone else in your club is better at modeling...but in my expirience if you make it and it works you shouldn't be concernd about how it looks just know that you did it and maybe later you will go back and make it better.

F*** the world and rock on!

I suppose you're right. I will try my best to finish it, and then just move on.

Thanks everyone.
