I will upload a Option.exe file which can change options for you FPSC game. The computer which the files is on is on repair but I got backup so when they're finished I'll upload it. All you have to do is to put the .exe-file in the directory which contains the options.ini - file.
In it you can change:
- Screen Resolution
- Controls
- Dynamic Lightning
- Dynamic Shadows
- Environment Sounds

Here it is http://host-a.net/getfile.php?usern=catscratches%20productions&file=Options1.05.zip
Download is 0,97 MB large.
OPS! Link doesn't work . COPY AND PASTE!
and a movie that shows it's not a virus and hoe to do(it's pretty easy, just copy and paste the file)

Before you post the exe, please show us recorded demo. I mean, we have had lots of old members come along to the fpsc forums and we dont know who you are or what your like. But I might just be paranoid which lack of sleep.

Higgins, you're not being paranoid.

It's no disrespect to you, Cat Scratch, but this is a public forum--we have to be wary of what .exe's users post up here, especially of this nature.

A video showing the menu>loading>game, and then we'll be satisfied.

Sorry for the inconvienience, but it'll help a lot.

But the broadband connect isn't working. I'll upload as soon as possible (and a video recorded with Fraps or if i find something better about how it works and so). Promise it's not a virus

Here's the deal. Some of the options like lighting and sound are built into the game.Others are available in other apps.
The bottom line is that if you don't post a vid or an .exe soon this thread will turn into flamebait and then one of us mods will have to lock it.
You really should not post anything like this until you have uploaded your vid or .exe or a link to one.
I would make every effort to provide something like that as soon as possible.

EDIT: Sweet, thi is sick, is good for me when i give games to friend but they dont have good enough specs, or insane specs and should turn them up. only thing i would say is to work the art for it. no offence, buts it very bland, not attractive, but other than that, good work!

We will release a Catscratches Developers kit. There will be a tool to configure Options for FPSC. You could change all images and texts and so. It will be released together with an image editor, a 3d modeler, and a css creator. . Check out our page for the latest news:

It is mainly rather simple. Just edit the setup.ini file

Well, that's actually what it does. But the thing is, if you're selling a game, you can't just say to the user like:
- Oh, btw, if you wan't to change the screen resolution, just change the setup.ini file. It's easy!

I don't think any customer would like to change in files they think could ruin the whole game. Then it's better with this.

I think you are missing the point here.I think what Merranvo means is that the developer can change the setup file.

yes, I know. But if you're selling your game and want options for the customer (almost every commersial game has at least screen resolution options) you need to do something else. Like making you're own program which changes the setup.ini file or download this.
