How much do you think would it costs to buy a 20 model set with 5 textures for each model costs?

Thanks,

Such an in depth question...I must give a good answer!

$1,000,000,000! Everybody would FLOCK to the sale, and the seller would soon be rich!

Anyway...the lack of detail on this, or any images of the quality of both the models and textures lead me to say: nobody has any clue whatsoever.

What I mean is the models are like soldiers. USA, British, Rebals, and much more. Like those. Marines. SO?

What are the poly count range you're looking for? Are the models rigged and animated? Do the textures include normal maps? Are the specific keyframes documented for easy coding?

Ever hear of Turbosquid?

$149 http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm/ID/231560
$38.50 http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm/ID/158410
$45.00 http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm/ID/198431

That's what I saw of interest on the first few pages of characters, there are many many more pages you can browse on your own.

just noticed that the second link there is being sold by the game creators, as are a few other models...

do they really expect people to pay that kind of money for such pathetic models?

I must say that $38 is a complete rip off for that model...infact they all are. Im very surprised that anyone is buying models from there. Most game developers hire modelers or MAKE their own, they dont buy them off turbosquid......
Besides who has that much money to blow on models? Infact does anyone know if people actually make money off those websites for selling textures, or models?

www.pixeldirector.com charge $10 per character model but they don't have any soldiers.

How much do you think models of this quality might fetch?

I would probably sell those for 5 bucks each, but then I really don't have that much experience in selling models.

@RPGgamer..err John H: lol yes I laughed very loudly when I noticed that sale..i must convince turbosquid to send me a check for 69 cents which I will frame and hang on my wall.

Hmmmm, five dollars, mabye I need to step up my quality a bit.

Oh, by the way. Those, along with a few other characters are going to be released free as a sorta promotion for my website when it's done. The second one is Oddmind's juristiction however, so I'm not hosting it.

Anyone have any suggestions for the quality I need to achieve to get say $15-25 per character model. I already would be including a full set of animations in each.

Also, I'm thinking about having a custom model making option, although I really couldn't charge less than $50 for it just for a base model. A fully animated and custom model would be like $100-150. Does anyone think this would catch on or should I just drop it?

It's not the quality limiting them so much as the market. No one will want to pay that much if they want several characters.

Quote: "This is the second in my series of high quality objects that you can't get anywhere else. Im sure the low price attracted you. Prepare to be amazed, for this is no ordinary cube. Your run of the mill cubes have impossibly sharp edges. This cube, is not run of the mill; it has perfectly bevelled edges! Yes that is correct, now you can have a smooth edged cube, just waiting for you to give it the perfect texture. It could be a box, a die, a projectile, a container, or anything else that is cubish in shape! For one cheap model, that is quite a lot of flexibility! It is also available in a myriad of formats, so that it can fit any needs that you wish, or you can download the zip which includes all the formats! You know you need it, so download it before i'm forced to raise the price!"

lmao I'm surprised it hasn't been removed yet all my work seems to

Lol yes I have a supercylinder as well. I've been thinking about making a super pack which includes all the 3 models for %20 more, quite a steal i think, although I wont' say for who :p

The only thing of mine that was removed was a car that I called a Carrera GT since I didn't have permission from porsche to sell it. If I had called it anything else I would have been fine though lol.
