Apologies to all those for going off topic;
I like Torque, I'm glad I bought it to be honest, however its not just a drag and drop application, that bit is for building your game, places entities etc, there is coding involved, which is object orientated, and looks like C# using Torque script, but I haven't done much of the coding, as what I have started hasn't needed much, the tutorials are really good, especially the starter one, there are books on Torque which look pretty good and sound like they are very useful (as I have one on order) however Torque is really well documented on their website, I'll link you to their sample documentation.

You may need the use of a C++ compiler, for Windows it will be Visual Studio, I know they have good support at tutorials for running it in VC++ 2005 express, but I haven't tried such thing yet, as I've heard you can make games just using Torque script and no compilers (as Torque is pre-compiled its self, meaning any editing of Torque script will not compile because it has no need to) Just One Old Man compared it to FPSC in some respects, the collisions and movement are already programmed, you can place your entities where you want, build your level and then you code the scripts needed to make the game. And coding is straight forward, it just looks a little scary with all of its symbols, but they should be easy to pick up, as '{' means start and '}' means end, I find it easy as it looks exactly like C# to me and well out of all the Visual Studio apps C# is my strongest

.
As you said you can't code for crap, well I don't think that will be a problem as perhaps the documentation will help you on that one (so look at this bit of the documentation if it will help you decide)

Unfortunately, I don't know enough to answer many questions, so I'll redirect you to another forum (run by some of the better people from the FPSC forums, like Keith C and Just One Old Man) Post there and JOOM will most likely be of help as he is a more experienced Torque user as he answered all of my questions.

Also, Torque comes with a 'getting started' tutorial that is really really helpful and two 'starter packs' one for building first person and third person shooters and one for building racing games. You can buy an additional RTS starter pack on their website and on one of the user's websites you can find an MMORPG starter kit too (As basically Torque is really good for online games, even offline games are based on server and client like online games, except they are virtual rather than real)
One thing you may want to note is that Torque media files are;
Maps/Interior buildings - dif (exportor for CShop/3Dworld and QuArK(Quake Army Knife)
Objects in general - dts (Exporters for 3DS Max, Blender, Milkshape, Lightwave, Gamespace, Maya and soon Softimage XSI)
Music and Videos - Ogg Vorbis and the other ogg thing
Images - your general image file formats, bmp, jpg, png
Finally, download the demo, and I'll try as much as I can to support you with it
