today i decided to make a Castle model pack.it will use Multiple textures but theres a way to fix that

Now so far i got 3 entity's:

1)Normal wall
2)Wall with walk up
3)Gate(not a door,just a square gate)

These models are with one texture,and fairly good.

here are 2 screenshots.

REMEMBER these use multiple textures so it require some tweaking to get it work in build game.

are you making them in milkshape, because in that its very easy to just cut different textures in one image file, and just assign the different areas on the image, to different parts of the model.

Actualy,my first idea was to remake my RPG i made once with FPSC.BUT then in Midevil style.as we already had your KeenBlade,and now Jon's axe,this can be possible.

and i thought to release it for free....

but first i have to get my MAX running again!!!!it only appears outside my screen!

ANYONE who has milkshape,I'd apreciate it if you could help me get the texture in 1 file...

or someone who can UV map and texture...

cause this wont work in Build Game...

Yeah it's clear! But erm could you send me the .MS3D files, that makes it more easy and they have the proper names of the materials the object uses.

Example: I just opened up DoorW.x, and the materials are: MatD3D01,MatD3D02,MatD3D03,MatD3D04,MatD3D05.

In the MS3D file, they have names, so I can see which is the proper name for 'MatD3D01'.

(The .X file messes up the original texture name)

I just need the .MS3D files... btw your models look great!!!

i use 3DS max 7...

so i cant get .MS3D

Also i never saved them as .Max

only as .3ds...

then i made them .X so this is the clearest i can get for you...

Ok, can you then say - Per model which BMP/JPG it uses?

Example: WStand.X uses: Stone02.bmp, Woodwall.jpg, Metal16.jpg

If I search for this myself it can take long, and I might make errors, and I don't want to screw this up...

Thanks this is usefull information... Now I'm texturing WStand.X, I think it will all take about 30 minutes to finish. If I'm finished, I will let you know, and send you the mail with the models and all the textures.

-Second One's Ready - Stand.X - 1 Question: The Tea Cup on it, It has no seperate texture, so I just decided to make it white, just as you did.
-Tomorrow I make the last one ready, I have to go to sleep now

Oh, and do you want the models in .X or in .3DS? If I make .X files, I can test it right away in FPSC to see if textures work. Your choice

its supposed to be like that.

the pic i gave didnt had that dirt on the ground and milkshape overdrives with backfaces on models so that black part shouldnt be a problem.
