Zaibatsu--There
is such thing as a 2nd person shooter.
Third person is
generally considered to be when you have a "freestyle" camera that you can move seperate to the player. An instance of this is Super Mario 64--you can move the camera (the little cloud thing--can't remember it's name) without moving Mario.
On the other hand, a second person game is when the camera is moved depending on the player's stance--whether it be the static camera style of Resident Evil (the camera switches when the player goes out of view) or a camera that is stationed at a constant, un-changable distance from the player and that moves up/down depending on the pitch that the players head is tilted at.
It doesn't really matter, but I just wanted to clear that up.
