Milkshape does animate limbs. Don't ask me how to export it though, because I have never used it, but I have seen DB games made with it.

questoins like these...

Have you even opened the program yet? there are several indicators, including the Animation tab at the top, the Animation Mode button on the bottom along with a full fledged keyframe editor... And a joint creation and joint select button on the side panel.

Yes it does, read the help page for help on how to create an animation.

Ah, then you're out of luck, DB Classic cannot read that animation whatever you do to it. There's a program called cyberdelia that apparently exports animations that DB Classic can read, but it can't read milkshape files (Or any of the virtually endless list of file types MS3D will export to), you'll need to track down a converter before you can use that.

Yes, yes it can. That will not help your DBC situation though.

Everybody used to use Milkshape for DB Classic. It has something to do with the JT exporter. 'Simple' made stuff with it. Everybody posted...

Get Milkshape for DB modelling, and animation.

I got it, but didn't like the look of its interface, so I erased it.

Really? Then please forive, I was always under the impression it was impossible. In fact, dark basic not being able to read the animation was the only reason for buying DB Professional at the time I did
