AHhhhh! why is it that everytime i make something with splines (a leaf in this case) it only shows up in certian angles?

See, this is the same modle(not finished) and for some reason the leaf only shows up in certian angles then vanishes in other angles.

How can i fix this?

Have you tried triangulating the model? Problems like that happen a lot with plane/infinitely thin models that haven't been traingulated. If it's already triangulated I can only guess thats its something to do with the normals, or that somewhere a feature like 'two sided polygon' has been disabled.

Hope that helps,
Merk

Im not sure what program your using, but either there is an option on the mesh properties that allows "2-sided poly"(as Merl stated), or it has to do with the texture aplied to it.

For example, 3dsmax does this within the texture when checking the 2-sides checkbox in the texture window. Other way around is to fill the gap, but does not always work out well.

Provided this is a matter of triangulation, any 3d modelling program should have a function of feature to triangulate a model (even lithunrwap has it, and lithunwrap is made just for unwrapping UV co-ordinates). On the very odd chance the software you're using doesn't have that feature, you could resort to manually finding all your polygons that have more than three sides fix them, but that would be an absolutely last resort type of thing to do.

Take a look in the documentation of the software (hopefully its in electronic form so you can search "triangulate").

If nothing works you could upload your leaf model and someone could take a look at it.
Cheers,
Merk.
