I created an object and positioned it at coordinates 0, 0, 0. When I try to rotate the camera using yrotate camera() the object jumps to a lower position on the screen (almost to the bottom at the screen). I keep a printout of the x, y, and z coordinates of both the camera and the object positions but none of the coordinates seem to have changed. The camera rotates but I can't figure out why the object appears to moves to a different position only after the first rotation command. I used move camera() command and it works fine. Any ideas as to what may be happening with the camera rotation command?
Thanks!!

My camera seems to rotate on its own at the beginning of my program, then it is fine. It sounds similar to your problem. I was going to hide it behind a screen picture on a plain. Most games start off with a screen picture anyway. But maybe someone knows why this happens.

use the autocam off code. The computer automatically sets it on so the camera is positioned to see objects, but when rotated the camera pitches up a little.
