Hi. Im getting really annoyd with a program called "The Best Offers". It hides within my computer somewhere and whenever I use the internet it bombards me with pupups. Is it possible to make a program in dbpro that will block this program, or that deletes it?
If so, is it hard?

Er, sounds like you got malware problems!

Download:
SpyBot Search & Destroy
AdAware
- use Google to find the links. These are adware/malware removers.

Then download:
Avast
as it is the best (IMHO) free anti-virus software out there.

DBPro is NOT the way to go with getting rid of malware!

If Hijack this can find the Registry code, then you can delete the registry. If it keeps coming back then it would be possible to make a program that deletes the registry code on boot up. Probably best to use the windows command interface to do this.

Thats ok, I though everyone was angry... then I read the posts again and realized that that was not the case.

This makes me even more interested to see if its possible. When a program wants internet access my firewall ask me if I should allow it or not. The idea was to imitate this specificly for that malware. It would be an interesting project. But I wont be able to do it anyway, still a noob. When Ive got more experiance (in a near or distant future) I might try it, just to see if its possible.

i dont think its possible with dbp... it could maybe.. but be very complicated!

to boot in safe mode - press f11 or f12 i think when you boot up.. (when you see the windows loading screen first time)

alternatively, i think AdAware would be able to get rid of it quite nicely if you did a scan
