If you use IrfanView and you work with a lot of images (like with FPSC) this is real nice to install.
It adds a right click on any image and lets you convert it to any other image type. ( see screenshot) .


Download it from this web site for free.
It is the IrfanView ShellExtension 1.02 last one on the page.

EDIT it converts to tga too .
