hi, in 3ds 7 i realize that i have to grab segments of a texture and put the different segments on different face of the model, and so far i know i have to do this because i can only load one texture onto it when i put it on fpsc. but there's a problem, as soon as i texture one side with a segment, the other side of the model with the other segment changes to the same as the one i just did. i thought that i had figgered it out when i added about 6 of the same bitmap to the material library but i was wrong.

so... how do i skin a model?
