Hello to everyone,

I want to create a 3D Space Action Game a la "Wing Commander"
Has anybody tutorials for moving 3D Objects in Space or even a Tutorial to create a game like this???

Hi Pallmanni,

The Problem I have is following:

How do I create Space? Must i use a SPHERE and move the Ship inside?

Or is there a other way to do this?

P.S. : I read the Tutorials and the Basic of Programming is no Problem.

You cant create the space in a sphere.
If you try make object box 1,1,1,1
you will see something blue around it - its the space you need.
You can also make a skydome around the player
Just make some plains with a star texture and place them randomly in
the space then you will need a distance function eg if obj_dist(1,stars)>5000 then hide object x and some collision and a fly code and you have your space game.

maybe the attached code and media will help you by this easy project
