Can anyone tell me of problems between ATI cards and DBPro. I have an ATI all in one 128 pro video card. I haven't recieved my copy of DBPro yet, but should receive it very soon. please let me know if the problems are with all ATI cards or just certain ones.

We're not even sure it's the type of card that is the problem, it could well be the driver versions too.

Cheers,

From the rather sarcastic remark PCFormat gave when reviewing an ATI card last month, I suspect its the drivers...

I have a Radeon 7000. Stay away from that model! It's done something hideous to my computer. You'll probably read about it on the RGT forums. (I'm Asagatana there...)

For the speed problem, I still think its the ATI drivers; for Moonblade's problem, I think its a heat sink/memory problem (see the RGT thread).

But if the drivers are being called (maybe correctly, maybe invalidly; in either case it would be differently) through DirectX then it could still the drivers (or a bug in DX)

Have you tried DirectX 9.0a yet ?

Thanks for the response everyone. I was using direct x 8, but just switched to 9 so maybe I won't have to many problems. [b])

There's a 50% chance you'll have more problems though...

I went to DirectX 9 and nothing changed. Still got input lag at 39 FPS.

P.S. This is what the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated.
