Im using 3D canvas pro and I want to transform a cube so that it looks like it was inflated, meaning I want the sides to bulge slightly. I tried using the bulge operator but the problem is it makes the edges bulge upward as well, which is not what I want. I just want the faces to bulge slightly outward. Any idea on how to do this?

I would ask in the 3D canvas forums but I figured more modelers look in these forums.

if you were to bevel every edge equally it would give the same effect I think.

That works pretty well. Know how I could easily duplicate it on every side rather than going through the slightly annoying process.

You could also select each face of the cube and extrude it outwards (on the normal's direction) and then scale the extruded face downwards uniformly. I dont use 3DCP I use Wings 3D and 3DS Max so Im speaking from experience with those programs, Im not sure of what to use in 3DCP.

Turns out bevel isnt working so well because its not very accurate. Know how I could do this in blender?

Do you mean somethign like this?

In blender, just subdivide the cube a couple times depending on how smooth you want it, then select all faces, and press alt-s. This scales each face along its normal, and you get a inflated effect.
