in my prog i put a sync at the end of evry loop.
Does sync rate pause after every sync to make sure your game does not run too ast, or does it sync say 60 times a second, wherever youare in your prog

I think it pauses the program according to the sync rating of your graphics card/monitor combo, when the raster beam it either at the top of the monitor or at the bottom (cant remember which). As its 1/60 second (or thereabouts), you dont notice it.

Please note : The 1/60 is a guess - I dont have my DX SDK here to look it up.
