when i "build game", a problem really puzzled me. in "levele settings", there is "header image" which by default located in "languagebankenglishgamecorebackdropsbasicgamemenu.tga"

but i looked for it in the folder, just can't find it! there is a file named "gamemenu.dds", but surely no gamemenu.tga.

what's wrong with it? sb tell me? thx!

don't yell (type in bold)

all images are automatically converted to dds so it doesn't matter WHAT the extention is.

thx for your type.

i see the .jpg files in the folder
"The Game Creators\FPS Creator\Files\gamecore\backdrops\basic"

so why converting the .tga file to .dds? why?

and how can i open .dds files? i just cannot see it by acdsee.

You can possibly get a .dds plugin for your artsoftware. just place your own.tga in the same section as the .dds and delete the .dds. When you start your game the .tga you made will be turned into a .dds. The engine does this to read the game data easier. It's no big deal really.

I got the same problem, can't open em in ACDC, I know I should just change the extention to tga (hell I can even save it as TGA, should I?) but how will i know the correct size of the menu bars?

Recomindation for Apollo version 2.0: disable the search feature.

Of course Alternating Current and Direct Current won't help!
No, simply changing the extension does NOT work, it is a different file format, blah blah. you get the point.

The screen is 1024 x 768 standard on most monitors, set your sceen to that if it isn't then you have a wysiwyg editor set up. (The program is ACDSee not ACDC.)

P.S. My Commador 64 Emulator PWNS your Amiga any day!

I need to know the sizes of those lose menu blocks, not the screensize.

PS Emulators suck, its COMMODORE, and comparing an Amiga to a Commodore 64 emulator is just plain silly.
