I was wondering what modeling program I should use (free to download). I'm only asking because I've never had one and my internet connection is wicked slow. This is for an interior - say, a building. Would Truespace 3.2 do? I'm running on Windows...

Any modeler that exports 3ds or X should do. The most feared part of modeling is animation in DBC, so static objects shouldn't give much of a problem.

It's the programmer's life:
Have a problem, solve the problem, and have a new problem to solve.
