I downloaded the ladders here: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=73227&b=24


and everytime i put them in the editor fpsc crashes. (see screenie)

And fpsc closes

You didnt read the instructions that came with the file then. You have to make sure that you copy the files and put them in the same structure that they are in originally. Sounds complicated, but really very easy. copy all the items in the zips folder segments/user into your fpsc folder named segments/user. THEN copy the folder in the zips meshbank file called ladders (copy the whole folder) and paste that into your fpsc meshbank/user files,,then it will work.

Supah Gamer, Use the entity maker. I have a sulution. Here is the Tuitorial.

U NEED:
FPSC Entity maker. (Download from fpscreator.com in the downloads folder. FPSC to test it. The texture and the .x file.

Here is da tuitorial.
First u put da .x and da texture in da entitybank/user file. Write da texture name down on a piece of paper. Open the entity maker in the fpsc folder. Press enter until your ladders .x file name is displayed. When it is displayed follow the basic instructions. For example, name: My Ladder;. Type: object. Mateirial: Metal. Where it says 'texture' from da peice of paper that u wrote da texture name down on write it on this line, include the ....._D2.tga / ....._D2.dds. Those are rexture names. Then finnish the rest off on your own, your choice.

There is da answer! I worked it out a few months ago when a coca cola machine entity that I downloaded and put in the entitybank/user file and used the entity maker and suddenly, the corrupt files were replaced with new working ones!
