how do you keep a speed of a player at a certen speed no mater the Frames Per Sec?

2D games run very fast...

I dont know how to spell

200th of a second.......Adjust this until the game is not jerky.
If T < = Timer()
`Update the player in here
T = timer() + 200
Endif


Or just set the Sync rate

or maybe

fps = screen fps()
movespeed# = speedPerSecond#/fps
