Disposible media by myself, untextured, so its good for those who want something to screw up with UVMapping and textures, but to be honest thats my excuse for laziness/lack of UV Mapping skill But as soon as I do put a texture on it, you'll get another download, for now, you're gonna have to settle with a boring old white helicopter that cannot be spot on a cloudy days...so a stealth copter

well it sure is disposable media , other than the annoying smoothing groups you should really use more ref pics imo, as this definently isnt your best model.

No problem,

Agreed, but generally I'm an organic modeller, so with non organics I'm sort of a newbie at it, I don't know why the smoothing groups look like that, in Hexagon they looked fine, but in Cinema 4D they look funky, oh well, with a texture I'm sure it would be hardly noticable in someone's game

sometimes you have to adjust normals and stuff when exporting between apps. thats my experience. or maybe its export settings. but ya the model isnt bad just whats with the gold shader

God modelled man in his own reference image.

I'm sure you know me well enough by now, I have a fetish of rendering my models, its not a gold shader, just a white light and an orange light. And cheers, I'll just play with the normals a bit.

No problem, but don't take on too many projects, you'll get yourself in a muddle and things will be slower

Well, he's doing quite a lot for the game that is secret, but everyone knows about it. But you dont know what it is so it dosent matter. Either way the game will be great.

Ditto, although I don't honestly mind but I'm sure the forum does.

Thanks, its was modelled in Hexagon 2.1, when I exported and closed the program I forgot to take screenies, which is why the screenies are from Cinema 4D 6 (its quicker to load )

As for Add and Chris, I know you to have had your disagreements (as being caught up in a couple of convos and discussed seperately) but I know where Add is coming from in places, although some of the issues are not handled as they should be, like you Add I do get people on MSN asking me to make models for them or asking for my already made models, but the only models I give are my donated ones, like this one here. Although not the place to discuss, so I don't expect a discussion, but I would say, both of you do what we do with our next door neighbours, act as though you've never met and intend not to socialise unless it is needed.

Thanks, Well, you could use mine for the game, or just as a reference in creating your own, as I say, whatever floats your boat, and as always I imagine a typical little nerd with pocket protector and huge glasses that a so big if he looked at the sun his eyes would burn out of their sockets yelling 'bouyancy'

As for UVMapping, it can be pain, however I really love how Lithunwrap auto UV's work, they catch the polygons I need so the texture never looks screwed up (if textured right that is ) but when it comes to UVMapping in Hexagon, it goes all over the place.
