I'm working on something not-so 3D. I'm trying to have a backdrop that is a certain, single texture but it's not working. How do backdrops work? Is there a way not to use backdrops but still implement rotating 3D (the texture's rotating)? I've even tried the ape-method of texturing a 3D plain and sticking it behind the object... Help?

So you're creating a 2D game, but with a moving Background?

I'd suggest using just plain images. Or, if you want to move your background in 3D, you can create a sphere, turn culling off (set object obj, 1, 0, 0) and texture it with the background...

another way to do it would be to texture the backdrop and then scroll the texture.
