That's right I'm off to boot camp for a week. Maya boot camp in sunnyvale CA. I have no idea what it's going to be like, but I'm packing my bags today and will be flying up there tommorrow. Basically it's a camp for animation and modeling in maya. When I get back I'll post pics of what I made. So I won't be able to post for like a week. (but they might have internet there that I can use so I might drop in) Anyway, as you can see, I'm really excited. C yall later!

[EDIT]
I decided to finish up a tutorial I've been working on. All I've been doing is sitting around waiting for tommorrow. Anyway, I think I'm done with this...

Have fun and good luck dude, lets see what you come out with and you'd better come out with a short 10 times better than Finding Nemo or they'll be a whole lot of hair flying around, thats right, I'm gonna get a hair dryer and pull your hair out and blown it around the room giggling like a little school girl

Hey guys! It turns out the hotel has a computer with internet access. I had a lot of fun yesterday. Pretty much 9 hours of work with two break. VERY fun. We were taught the basics, and then they had us build a robot however we wanted. I decided to make a sentinel from the matrix. I didn't have any reference pics so when I looked on the internet for it afterwards I noticed my mistakes. Here's a pic of it, but photobucket made it real small. I'll post a big one tommorrow or tonight.

We're rigging them today. Unfortunately for me, I have to use spline ik handles for the tentacles. Everyone else gets to use regular iks Oh well, here comes nine hours of hard (but fun) work. C ya.

Nice, I'll probaly look at escape studios when I go down London tomorrow, thats if we pass Soho, see what courses they have in for me, I know they don't do C4D, but a course in Zbrush would do me, so when I do buy it, I can get started properly, with out having that blank look I always do when trying a new app, they tend to look a little creepy, if I had a webcam, the person on the other end would be scared. very scared.

Yup, thats what I love about being a student, it might require an NUS card, I should apply for one. I know Maxon UK (Which is a half an hour drive from where I live) do Cinema 4D courses, but you would expect that being the creators and all, its extra money for them

I don't know, I don't know how the system works in USA, ours is kind of like, but when we start Alevel work, this is when education is optional, by law, you don't have to stay in education until after GCSE exams, even if you fail, A levels are the next stage, which are completely optional, so I guess this is when you guys in the USA can reap the benefits (if you get any) and what relation that is to high school, I have no clue
