lol ok i thought ooga changed his name.

Um the story...

Basically that little flower is in a big field of sunflowers and these weeds grow up around him. When he looks away from the sun, they grow further. When he looks towards the sun though, as all the other sunflowers are doing, the weeds stop growing...Its an analogy.

Lol, thats it in an extreme nutshell.

Hey greenlig i did change my name you just had the two ninjas confused :p.
They both look great! Im guessing the fuzz on the real flower is particles? I would like to see some more pictures as well. Good luck with your movie!

lol mucky mucky. Youre the real ooga.

Yer the fuz is particles. I tried to follow a real pic as closely as possible and it didnt turn out too dissimilar.

I'll post some other pics in a bit.

Alternate Ending!! Yay!!

Sadly, it didnt feel like he was any younger than the other one, so i moved the scene a bit.

Hope you enjoyed all them!

lol, same here. Its not often i get asked to do a short movie for someone other than family, so I'm fairly excited about the prospect of making a good short film.

Got an interview today with a 3D modeling firm so I'm a bit excited and I think i'll use that as one of my examples.

Thanks for viewing guys!

regards,
greenlig

edit - oh yer...do any of you guys have skype? If you do, i think it would be cool if we all had a conference some time and tried to make a community image...would be cool.

If you want I could give you a link to a grass generator for blender. It makes grass thats to high poly for games but extremly realistic. I had looked into if for making 2D pics of but I never took too much time with them. There are lots of weed/plant generators out there for free, all you have to do is look. Here is the grass one.

thanks Med. Coder. I'll look into that.

Interview was amazingly good. For a guy on quarter of a million a year, he was very accessable!! IE he let me have a few beers with him and a few collegues.

Wow.

Greenlig
