I tried doozens of times now to get my custom made segemnts to run in FPSC.

That what i did:

1. Created a segment entity with Milkshape 3D and used JT DirectX 8 plugin to convert it to .x format.

2. Loaded the entity as mesh into Segment Maker, added
a texture to it and save the file as .fps within Segment Maker

3. I put the output files .bin .fps .bmp into the segments folder of FPSC and run the programme

4. I add my segment and it says: RUNTIME ERROR 7001 - Mesh Number illegal at line 9675.

That happens all the time. what did i wrong?

you need to put your custom mesh in

files/meshbank/user/rooms/myroom/

and when you copy the files to FPSC, open the file bank in the segmetn editor and copy

Segments
meshbank
texturebank

copy those folders,

open

files\ in the FPSC folder and paste the folders you copied. it will say overwrite... say yes.

done.

there are videos with the editor that explain exactly how to do it. So WATCH THEM.
