Its been about a year since the very first 3D modelling contest of 'Known Character modelling' (Strangely, near that year mark, there is a fav game character one, done on purpose?) that BigAdd won, with Mach (Mike Inel) coming close, and Mucky Muck Ninja (Master Chief or whatever) entering a scene his quality has far exceeded now.

Ignore the dribble, as the lame A-Level student I am, I am requesting for some assistance with the running of the contest, okay, I have had help from MikeS and a very good job of the community enforcing things before I even get a glance.

What I'll need is just someone to keep a general eye on things as there are and will be times I neglect this and questions will be directed at me. I'll need a mod to edit the main thread if I it looks like I am not here, or if I state my absence.

What I would appreciate are members who are familiar with the contest and have been a dedicated competitor who know how things are done, or some of the people that supported the contest when it first started (Big Add, BenDstraw, Ooga Booga, The Crazy etc.) And I'll most likely need a mod of assistance, I know MikeS has been an asset to the contest recently. So if you wanna help, just say so, I'm familiar with a lot of the members here, I don't need some sort of statement selling yourself to me, leave that for job/uni/college applications.

i'll take a more active role in answering questions that people ask you where ever i can, particularly on critting/technical questions in the WIP boards.
i really should start joining in more, but its summer, i have an attic room that's like an oven, and the park is five minutes away and is full of fit girls in bikinis, so its kinda hard to concentrate on... anything.

I don't have a sig, live with it.

Hey Musashi, I'd be glad to help. I'm still at boot camp but I'll be home in a couple days and roaming this forum as usual

Thanks, I'm pretty confident you guys will do great, I mean if I can run a contest anyone can Its like I used to say at Karate, if jonny can pass, anyone can...except Jonny gave up now to try and annoy me on MSN with stupid comments.

Anyway, minus the ramblings of unrelated BS, I'll probaly let a couple more people say 'ooh ooh pick pick me', I really just want people to keep a general eye on things, pick up on any rules, loop holes, get me or a mod to edit them, or to add new rules that are suitable, but keep in mind the principle of the contests, so I don't expect people having to load up their models online or poly counts restricted to a realistic amount for a typical DBP game. Any questions, ask me, I'll be still around, well for at least a year anyway before uni, but I'm trying to not be the computer nerd who in online every five minutes, I want to be the study nerd too.

Thanks for the volunteers; so just for my convenience, thats;
Bigg Add,
Manic,
The Crazy,
and Oddmind.

Hey... there is a reason for the Extra G..... its a long story... full of explosions and amazing car chases you would not believe even if u witnessed it with your wide eyes. There is also the occasional friendly duck to lighten the mood when things get tough. But despite the comedy genius of Harold the duck, bringing a lighter atmosphere into the scene, the story remains dark and thrilling beyond your wildest imagination!!

Well..I've been around these contests since I first came into this message board...so well, I'll help...not that I really see this statement changing the way I've always acted at the contest threads

I hate you. You hate me. Trust me, we both know it...no need to let me know everytime we meet.

If you need a mod edit, just e-mail me or any of the other mods that generally float around the 3D section.
