So i updated DBPro and now when i try to recompile a program it says that i dont have the latest directx. I tryied running my old programms and they run fine until i open them and recompile the thing. Then i get the same error. I thought maybe it just wanted me to updated directx so i did but still it gives me the same error. I dont know whats going on, i also tried installing the update again, but it didnt do anyting. So please any help on this would be appreciated. In the mean while im going to try some other things.

Also when i was updating it it said it could not find Dark Basic on my system. So i had to manually locate it. I dont know if that could have messed it up. but thats one odd thing that happed when i was installing the update

reinstall all of darkbasic and plugins and download the latest direct x from http://www.microsoft.com/directx because you now need direct x 9c febuary edition or later that should get you up and running

Thanks

if you have lost your cds you will have to contact TGC with your order info because there is no proof yo uown it otherwise, if you have the newest direct x and you reinstall like i said you will most likely no longer have a problem

Thanks

Sounds like one of your files somewhere went corrupt. As everyone else said, try a complete reinstall. (You may want to try removing all registry entries associated with DB or DBPro also, if you do not know how to do this ccleaner is a good tool to use, its available at www.ccleaner.com .) BTW, if the reinstall works backup the new install, then you can just copy it back if something goes wrong instead of looking for CD's.

Computers are like air conditioners, they stop working when you open windows.
