the software is called deled 3d editor and its free.
just type it in on search and you will find it

There are several programs that are good for exporting .x models from to name a few, Milkshape3D, Blender, DELed, 3D World Studio, Cartography shop4, Geoscape 3D. The one you chose to use is up to you. But just remember that the most pricey may not be the best for your needs. if you are a beginner you should probably stick with free programs to get your feet wet and then once you learn what your needs are make a decision based on your experiances.

Took a quick look at this one. Very interesting. The 'export to .x' plugin is included.

I have heard that Deled shourld be better than other mapbuilders for fpsc. Im not sure if it is true, but when there is a .dbo plugin for free it gives us a clue that it might be true... (I think better means, better collision protection...)


I want to see a FPSC Professional! And lets make it REALLY expensive this time......

Blender is weird. No other word for it. WEIRD.


I intend to get 3D Canvas Pro soon. Only $79.99. Really simple.
The freeware version is excelent, but no .x export.

Watch out, this bunny bites...

Deled Rana bit shaky on my machine for some reason, blender was wierd for the first day ro so before I got the hang of it.
