I need some very urgent help.

I am doing a game design/development course and we have a milstone coming up in a few days.

The Problem is this: I have this level of a circus (Which looks very cool) and i have it so you can fly through and it works perfectly. The problem is that it only works on the computer that i made it on. And i know what you are probably thinking.

When i run it on another computer it seems to have some z-depth errors. When you go up close to the stands they co transparent and show the background colour (light blue) instead of the object behind it, but even that, it shouldn't go transparent.

I'm hoping that there is something on the computer i am working on that is't on the others that is very to solve.

PLEASE HELP ME! I NEED HELP SOON!

Thnx

P.S. Its not the graphics card, cos they all have the same.

Could you email me one or two of the objects you are having difficulty with, (will have to be tommorow afternoon now as i'm heading off to bed) then I will load them with the same object and world properties.

I have had a similar problem in DBPro too, but I believed it was my graphics card (GeForce2) however I have more systems here with other cards so I can play about a bit and hopefully get to the bottom of this.

yes i'm sure we're all proud to have aussies here...
that aside, try setting the Camera Range... without knowing the graphics cards difference then there is no way to tell what is truely wrong.
best thing you can do is try it on as many systems as you can, but i'd hesitate to use anything except WinRAR RAR format or WinZip Zip formats to compress your projects ... as after someone sending me thier Retro comp entry, we found a bug which was to do with the compressor and not the dbpro exe - but it affected the dbpro exec in some strange ways.
I've tried alot of compression formats since and found that only zip & rar actually made in thier respective creators will not damage exe's when compressing.

however doesn't sound like a major bug to me, if they disappear at a greater distance you could just turn off the zdepth for the object when you get within Nth distance

I FIXED IT!

I am a total DICKHEAD (according to Minimark)

All the other computers DON'T HAVE PATCH 4!!!!!!!!

So when i compiled it it would stuff up cos it didn't have patch 4.
All hail Patch 4.

hmm... why didn't you compile it and THEN try to run it on the other machines? lol
