Hey, im somewhat new to darkBASIC Pro... im trying out its 3d capabilities and am making an accurate solar system that the user can explore with free mouse look and arrow keys movement. I have made the sun, planets in orbit... i just have one problem. What kind of lighting must i use to create a bright sun? And also, how to make the planets look like bright stars from far away, while keeping the black of space.

If anybody has the answer, please respond. Thanx

I would probably try posting this in the DBP forum. As for the stars, look up flare effects.
