Hey Everyone. I just got into texturing and decided to post some things that I make. My first 2 objects are a TV and a VHS Tape. See the screenshot...

Not bad for the first objects! But perhaps it is better that you use another texture for the left right top and back side from the tv, because the white looks awfull ingame (Just use a piece of the existing texture - example the top of the TV picture, above the screen to paint the other sides? It would perhaps look better)

Anyways nice models, could definately use them

What program did you use to make them?

Thanks for the comments guys.

@ Starmarrt-

Thanks for the advice. I just made the texture a little darker on the TV for now and Im taking pictures of my TV to make a better texture. Im using milkshape to make my models, but these were made using the new update to Magic FPS.

Heres another model, A washing machine!

Thanks again guys. Here is a cereal box I made. I took pictures with my digital camera for this one. All my models can be used for commercial use, but I'm not to sure about this one. It's a box of Frosted Flakes. Anyway heres a screenie.

Can you map the texture to the model w/ Milkshape?
Ican't find anything free to do UV mapping, but I might buy milkshape if it does that.

Watch out, this bunny bites...

@rabid rabbit-

I made all of the models you see on this thread with Magic FPS. It has a feature where you can individually texture each face on a square.

The Magic FPS box was made with Milkshape. Too bad Milkshape doesn't have an "export to FPSC" feature. I knew that little feature on MFPS would open up a pandora's box of new FPSC objects. Actually you could make pandoras box...

rabid rabbit - i know how to do uv mapping, i'll give you an assault rifle uvmap. use irfan view, get the uvmap in jpg then edit it, save it as "assaultrifle_2_D2" or whateva then import it into irfanview and save in same place as same file but save as "texture.TGA" and then u can use it with ur new wepon. enjoy the uvmap!
