im using the panda direct x exporter with 3ds max 6... and i export my files but when i try to load them in dbpro the program just starts and then closes without doing anything... maybe theres some settings i need to change or something i have to do to the model to make it compatible?

are you just doing load model.. because there might not be anything wrong with your models just you programming exiting before the model is being displayed..

no im not exiting it... cuz im loding the model then positioning it
then i put in a do and loop so it should just continue forever untill i hit escape

i agree with Eddie, also you can do a thread search here on panda because there are some old posts with correct settings for panda ( I know this because two days ago I had to find them again )

Make sure theres a sync in your loop, and check if your model is rendereable, else it won't show.

thank you very much Heckno.... i used the link u posted and used the settings from that page and now it works and my model loads without the program just shutting down
