Well, first you need to be the official Pope. Then you need to eat 7 kosher pickles, while doing a handstand. After that's completed, stand on top of a building, and recite the entire dictionary by memory. You then proceed to singe all your fingerprints off, with a Zippo lighter.

And there you go! Your game has been sold!

I can't decide on what to post. Theres the concept of 'ask a silly question'...

Basically dude, from your other posts it's evident that you don't yet have a game. And until you do, there really isn't any point in thinking about selling. Once you do have a game to sell, it's not really a question of "how do I sell it", more a question of "who can I market it to"

you could consider:

*Setting up a website for your game (with paypal link to buy)

*Having a banner ad for your game on your sig.

*releasing a demo (to get hype for the game)

*Contact TGC to try and get coverage in the newsletter.

Really, in the current games market, it doen't matter how amazing your game is, if you don't market it propperly, you wont sell anything.

Agora Cart:
http://www.agoracart.com/

Zen Cart:
http://www.zencart.com/

Try those online webstores.

for websites:
Janhost:
http://www.janhost.com

Freewebs:
http://www.freewebs.com

50 Megs:
http://www.50megs.com

90Megs:
http://www.90megs.com

BraveNet:
http://www.bravenet.com

If youve set up your store you can easily Advertise at forums,newsleters and websites about your game.

Id try to get as much custom workin the game as possible,not just FPS standard,models made for your game especialy would be the best.

also,release a demo with 2 or 3 levels of your game.Just to let the buying group get a taste of the game.

Id would also be usefull if you find more people around who have websites to sell something.if you find them and set up an affliate program your visitors might raise higher.

Also a nice presentation on your website about your game would be great,and for something else:

Good costumer support.not just some idiots who arent repliying,no good support.

If you got those points well,you might make it into selling games!

@Accel Leon.

Very informative and well thought out response.

@da power pwnerer.

The only thing I would add is the obvious. The easiest way to sell your game is to make it good enough that others are impressed and will want to sell it for you. Don't put the cart before the proverbial horse. Make sure you have created a game worth selling first. If you can accomplish this, your only investment in the sales will be your time in presenting it to sellers.

Good luck.
