Ok, I had this problem, or at least a similar one. If you turn on all the sexy shaders etc Scifi tends to shade differently from WW2.
Basically what your describing is what D13 told you, you need a better graphics card.
And theres no point whinging. If you can't handle FPSC's bugs, then there's little chance you would do any better with a more complex, comprehensive game engine.
Basically you have to see FPSC as an exercise in problem solving. You can get some amazing results, but you really do have to put the hours in. not just in the program itself, but investigating the file structure.
