I am in the mood to show off my latest models. I will be showing the fists and the rifle, which will be for sale in a model pack. The fists are a melee attack and the rifle, well its a rifle, but with hands.

So here are the first screen shots.

Jonathon--Sorry to say this, but I think you've got your expectations a little high. Learning to model is not something you learn overnight--basically, tutorials are your friend and you'll want to start off with basic things--my first model was, from memory, a really bad looking pen (from a tutorial), and my first model without a tutorial was a monitor.

Anyway, I suggest downloading Anim8or or Blender (both of which are free) to get a grip on modelling first. There are tutorials available on the internet for both--a Google search will help you find what you need.

Great job, Higgins! I like them both. Can I see the rifle without the hands, though?

just a suggestion higgins,
those arms are not compatible to the one shown from other model packs.
maybe youll get better sells if there is no difference between them.
would look strange if you switch weapons and immeadiately wear a jacket with long sleeves. know what i mean ?

yeah...thats the ticket !

Frankly badger, you told people to buy Jons pack instead of higgins'

That, as far as im concerned is pretty rude. Jon and Higgins aren't in competition, they have different styles and different ideas.

I think you're crazy to think you can insult higgins on his own post, and then go crying to the mods when he asks you to stop.

oh and just so you know, in the UK, cartoon characters say crap. Infact I just looked it up in the dictionary and it's considered vulgar but not offensive.

Umm... hate to interrupt, but for what it's worth, that's a fantastic looking rifle, Higgins. But more than that, the hands and arms are really superior. Top notch work.

Would this rifle be included in your planned horror pack, then? Looking very much forward to that pack, and seeing your animated rocking chair, fantastic idea.

Badger, lets just stop the time wasting posts and just help each other out, or at least keep to our selves.

Thanks Kerithion, the rifle will be part of the pack, its not a real one, I kind of just made it up. I am showcasing some of the stuff in my level for the contest, once its up for downloading, you will be able to see what the weapons are like.

I guess I could make arms without sleves. Well, any way, the horror pack will be coming out within a week, so look out for it. The fantasy pack will be out after the horror.

Take a look at the fists in action. You will also be able to play with them in my level for the level design contest, when they release it.

I don't really like those animations. They don't look realistic. I filmed this reference just for you:

Both, fantasy and horror packs are going to cost £8 or $15.20.
