I don't know what else to call them. I've been working on making my segments more dirty and realistic. Here is one I've just finished. One day I hope to be as good as Jon, uman, crow34 and some others here.

Use them for what you will if you want. I'm just practicing right now since I have not started a project yet. There are 3 wall segments, 1 floor and 1 ceiling.

@John Perone

The segments are flat. The layers, bevels, and shadows were done in PhotoShop before the segment was created. I think that's what you're asking.

Lovely work, Xplosys. and thank you very much for sharing it.

Your screenshot actually looks remarkably like the hallway of student digs I once had in Dundee.

Dude, that's really nice work.

I'm gonna post some criticism, not because I think your work is bad (it's excellent) but because you said it was practice..

Basically the join between wall and floor, and floor and ceiling is too harsh. Perhaps you could use a tiny bit of the floor segment at the bottom of the wall, so that it appears more seamless

(use a new layer with the floor segment, then errase some of it with an eratic brush?)

But keep up the good work man, it's certainly gonna make your levels more impressive.

Ok, apparently he was still logged on. I'll get it right in a minute. Anyway, when my nephew's post's (John Perone) appear, that is what I posted on his login. It's what I get for letting him use my computer.

This will all make sense when his posts appear .... I think.

You've got your fpe pointing to the wrong texture location.
I've changed them.

Thanks, bye the way.

try not to bump old threads, even though the effort put into these segments is really good.
