1. In multiplayer mode, What is the most ammount of player you can have to a game?
2. Can you convert from multiplayer map to a single player map?

Yes,very easily.

File menu
Preferences
and switch multiplayer to singleplayer.

from SP to MP is harder.Only static in MP and no grenades and rocketlaunchers.
