Hey im making a barb wire fence muc like this one http://www.fotosearch.com/comp/DSN/DSN004/1767487.jpgi was just wondering if anyone knew the easist way and least poly way of make the mesh part of the fence. would i just have to make a long rectangle and let texturing do the rest? im using 3ds max 7

As you said, make a long rectangular plane and let texturing do the rest. An Alpha map to be more precise.

yeah, the barbed bit at the top should just be another textured plane.

an alpha map works like this;
black:see through
white:solid
grey:anything inbetween

I don't have a sig, live with it.
