ok in my game i am trying to make a ventlation shaft but whenever i conect it to one of my walls the whol wall disapers how can i fix this

After you have your vent in place, select the correct wall Segment from the library on the left, press 'm' to select wall only mode, use the 'r' key to rotate it correctly, and left click to place it.
