Is it possible to use an animated boned character (im just using one from FPS Creator) with the ragdoll command. Can I have the character walking around using the keyframed anims in the .x file and then, say when he dies, let the ragdoll physics take over?
How would I go about rigging the ragdoll command into such an object.

Although we haven't taken it as far as a full character model you can see how ragdoll can be used in the rope demo. The same techniques used there need to be applied to your model. It can be very time consuming to set up but the rope demo will provide a good starting point.
