Check this software it's very easy to get realy nice results with it, and the L1 software (see on the site) is free.

The L2 and L3 versions cost 20$ and 40$.

DOGA can export to .X format, but the textures you have to do seperatley (unless you want to buy the more advanced versions).

Yes, but none of them is THAT easy to use.

p.s. DOGA is originally designed for animation so here is an demo animation i made:

Ok after about the 10 thousandth time you can use blender for everything from model creation to uvmapping and animating. if you are looking for a program that will automatically model things for you then you are in the wrong buisness. grab a free program and learn it. you will be suprised at what you can do with it.

Well if you al actually had spent some time in the programs site you wuld had found out that this software is designed for learning the basics of 3D animation and moddeling.

Hance the "for n00bs" in the headline.

Yes, I recommend TrueSpace and/or GameSpace for beginners to 3D.

I recomend Shape Mash (TM) from Merra Tech (R).

Shape Mash (TM) contains over five thousand pre-made models and two million uv maped textures. Using Shape Mash (TM) is easy! Just choose a model and then repeatedly mash buttons and your model will come out like it was your own. Impress your freinds by showing off your 1337 skills as a modeler, load a model and then they will watch in aww as it mystically forms before their eyes while your at the keyboard.

Studys have shown that even though participants KNOW that they are doing nothing participants gain more confidence for when they DO attempt modeling. People like Leonardo Da Vinci have used Shape Mash (TM) to improve his modeling, even Derek Zoolander has used Shape Mash (TM).

Shape Mash (TM) is the future, the past, the buy now! (only one thousand US dollars, shipping and handling apply, fully taxable)

Funny...
As the previous post has pointed out it does take time and effort to learn to model.
And Leonardo used Milkshape to make all of his models...

I haven't done any animating in TS or GS, so I wouldn't be of much help.
