Hello everyone,

I have a modeling question. Before I ask just to give you and idea of what I work with:

- 3D Studio Max 8 (for all my modeling and texturing coordinate needs)
- FPS Creator (to make game levels)
- FPS Segment Editor (to create room segments)
- FPS Creator Entity Maker (to create objects to be placed in the levels)
- SignsII (to quickly make rooms and wall furniture i.e. signs for walls)

I was wondering how to make stairs. I see that stair files are ‘.fps’ and ‘.dbo’ files. What program can I use to say import a stair case mesh that I made and make the files above that I can then use my stair case in FPS Creator?

Thanks,
Cyprian

Use segment editor then open up any stairs and you will see that they are made of a number of little stairs and two side bits well you can retexture and move these anyway you like just make sure you don't over right the original stair chose save as.
As for your own mesh if you put the x file in the user folder it should appear there
