Hello everyone!

We're planning more model packs at murkymedia.com. The few I'm working on in particular are prop collections. I'd like to get some feedback from you guys on some points. Please let me know what's on your mind. We'd like to make prop packs that are useful to the community.

Question 1:

Which would be more useful? Which would you prefer?
A) 20 models and that all used the same really big texture page? ;or
B) 20 models that each had their own unique texture map?

Question 2:

Which would be more useful? Which would you prefer?
A) .dbo files? ;or
B) .x files? ;or
C) both

Question 3:

Any other formats that would be useful?

Question 4:

If the objects have lighting information, where should it be?

A) In a seperate lightmap object.
B) In the vertex colours.
C) Part of the texture map.

Feel free to let me know your other preferences on points not mentioned in these questions.

Goodness, all those questions make this post look like a multiple choice test!

That's all for now. Thanks a lot guys!

Question 1) 20 models that each had their own unique texture map

Question 2) .x files because fpsc creates its own .dbo files from the .x file.

Question 3) .3ds if someone thats using DBC or DBP wants to use them.

Question 4) lol, i dont know. Ill leave that for someone else to answer.

Dont forget to visit my website for scripts!

I've got an early preview to show you guys. I'm hoping I can get a bit more feedback on formats and issues that you guys would like to see addressed.

At the moment each model will have its own texture map. I'm still trying to decide whether to burn the lighting into the texture or have a seperate lightmap object. Let me know what you think!

This image only represents some of the models offered in this upcoming pack. The chap standing in the middle is only a size reference!

I'll be trying to get textures on for the next preview.
