3 Dimensional Chat / Can you use truespace 3.2 with DB Pro?

kk, I just downloaded that free version of truespace (3.2 I think), and was playing around with the metaballs, it's amazing how easy they are to use.

I wanted to save my work, but there came an error... I don't know why. But I don't mind that particularl, as it let me export a jpg render of the object, and let me export a .x mesh.

But when I came ropund to load the .x thing in DB Pro, it said that it didn't exist... I have no idea why, because the file was definately there, and I had the name right... Is there an incompatibility?

Or... am I doing it wrong?

Bouncing Physics... How do?

truespace 3.2 exports to .x?? since when? I see the following..


TrueSpace v3.2 Features..

3D Export

VRML 1.0 - 2.0, DXF, ASC, CAN, RSD

3D Import

VRML 1.0, 3DS, ASC, PRJ, OBJ, LWO, LWB, IOB, GEO, EPS, AI, PS

.X is not listed as a supported file format. and if you meant .dxf DBPro cannot load those.

TrueSpace v4 on the other hand shows this info..

SCN, COB, SOB, WRL 1.0 , GZ, WRZ, DXF, 3DS, ASC, PRJ, LWO, OBJ, LWB, IOB, GEO, X

3D Export

SCN, COB, CAN, WRL 1.0 and 2.0, DXF, ASC, 3DS, X


Perhaps you got the versions wrong? or the .x support in v3.2 is undocumented.
