Well it seems that locrian insists on reproducing my models that i have for sale and probably the kitchen pack that im currently working on. before i ask my question i need to explain somthing to locrian

locrian, your modeling skills are great and im impressed, but i need to clarify the situation from my point of view and what im about to say i mean from the bottom of my heart.

this whole thing between us started from models that i produced with higher than normal polys. the reason i had high polys is becuase i wanted to include all the detail i could in my models. i dont like playing a game that has a computer keyboard for example and all the buttons are flat. its like a pic of a kyboard thrown on the table. but all this has made me realize that i must compensate for the hopefully temparay incapabilities of the fpsc engine. the remark that i made about putting a character of 3000 polys is no different as putting a static entity with 3000 polys i really believe this to be true. so far as the customer realizes the possible affect it will have ingame. I understand you wanting to get your point across about the high polys. looking back i agree. i have nothing against you even after you dupped my mods. and i have started to produce models with poly count and quality in mind. can we please start over now. I'm tired of us battling this way. we should be helping each other to produce better and more usable items.

now for the question at hand,
not knowing if he will settle with me or not, should i continue work on the kitchen pack, wich by the way is almost finished, and continue development of the other packs listed on my site

why would you stop? Thats a lot of effort to go to waste. I say make, put them up for sale and sell to those who buy it.

inovator,
I really think this would have made a better email then a public display but since you keep trying to address me publicly I guess I'll respond.

Not to be rude but I'm taking your accolades of my modeling to be offensive and self centered. The only reason your saying that is to try and stop me from getting into your pocket by releasing things that your trying to sell.

Let me expand on this a little so you get where I'm at in all of this.

Here we have a guy that joins this community on June 21st of 2006. He knows so little about, not only the FPSC engine, but any game engine, and he starts making models to try and earn a fast buck or two. So here he pedals his wares, and people in the community that may know more then the guys giving you the "Atta boy" routine, warn you of this. You in turn try and tell people that actually know much more then you that your models are fine. This in my book is deception and lies spewed forth to lure in the ones that may not know any better, for the chance at taking money from them. I abhorrer this kind of intellect. I'm not sure what makes people like you tick and I'm not going to try and analyze it here. But what I can do is pee in your cornflakes. See if I was a mod I'd of banned you after the first post with a 10000 poly object for sale. Cause to me thats deception and not what I garner as a nurturing community.

I know I'm hard on some people at time. I'm short with them. I'm rude. But the things I do are intended to make them think before they hit that post button. I'd be snide with my own children if they asked me for the 10,000th time what cupboard the peanut butter was in. They know where it is....go look....dur.

I act the same way here. I'm not two faced. My online persona is the same as my real life. Just cause I'm snide with some, dose not mean I wouldn't turn right around and help these same people when I see their trying.

What I witnessed was a wanna be predator entering a community of which I'm a part of. What you didn't know though was in the middle of the heard you though was prey, there are a few lions as well.

Want me to stop making similar items to yours? Remove the items for sale that don't conform to any game engine. Do some reading. Get to know us before you take our money. Read up on bump/normal maps so you can figure out how to make stuff appear like its got more polys then whats it has. Quit worring about that dollar bill and get a clue..............

Till then I'll be making Items I see on that site. I got cha book marked and I've looked at it at least once a day the last 2 days to see if even after you got a clue that 3000 was to many polys that youd do the right thing and remove the sales.

But you haven't......and till then....I'm making freebies.

Loc

Hey guys...Im selling this char for 50$ and she'll do fine in FPSC I promise.

I wish TGC had a PM system.
Then again if you can't e-mail someobdy you probably can't PM them either.
Locrain is right. You guys shold probably handle this privately.
Then we mods will not have to clean up threads, lock things etc.
You both are making a contribution to the community.
I would like to see you guys work this out peacefully.
