Not knowing what you may have tried it could be

1. object has no mass
2. object has no material

without some code its a bit guess what your doing.

I'm not getting you down am I, Ho Look! another fancy Door?

I found the problem
I was working in inches so I adjusted the gravity constant from 9.8 meters per second squared to 386 inches per second squared.
Bad move ... from now on I will work in meters (or scale if needed)

The only issue is that a bowling ball is 8.0 inches in dia and 0.2032 meters is so wrong....

I was wrong again
I had mass on the object but not enough when I multiplied the masses of 4 or 5 by 39.4 the vibration stopped and the objects worked as expected.

My bowling ball can be 8.0 inches again
